HAUWA BELLO

MSc, C-PD, CGT, C-ASCDS 

PSYCHOTHERAPIST/ LIFE COACH/ CLINICAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST/ ENTREPRENEUR

Popularly known as Mumtaz, Hauwa Bello acquired certifications to apply skills she has learned to improve individual and organisational physical and mental health. She holds a BSc in Human Anatomy from the prestigious University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, and Masters in Health Psychology from Walden University. Minnesota USA. She is currently a PhD student in the same university she earned her master's degree from and doing a second masters degree in Clinical Psychology. Her research interests are stigma related to mental health, adverse childhood experiences and the concept of shame in the African community. 

She is a mental health advocate, a Gottman couples therapist, a certified Neuro-Linguistic Master Practitioner (NLP), a Positive Psychologist,  an Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Expert, a Results Coach, a Life Coach, an Emotional Intelligence Coach, a Play Therapist, an Art Therapist, a Mindfulness practitioner, an Aromatherapist, a Color Therapist, a Trainer per Excellence, a Psychotherapist etc. She has attended and featured in numerous training, seminars, workshops, etc., on Education, Mental health, and Entrepreneurship. 

She is a faculty member of Sam Obafemi Behavioral Change Academy (SOBCA) and is the CEO of Mumtaz's mind and wellness studio and Mumtaz International School. She uses an individualised blend of psychotherapy such as psychodynamic / psychoanalysis therapy, humanistic therapy, behavioural and cognitive therapy to help people with mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, phobias, addictions, and other mental health disorders.  She is conversant with and trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Positive Psychology, Emotionally Focussed Family Therapy (EFFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gottman method, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) etc.  She especially loves to help couples thrive and ailing family recover and flourish. For couples therapy, she uses the research-backed approach to relationships of the Gottmans. This method is the most research, tested and trusted method to healing relationship troubles and creating long-lasting loving relationships. 

She does individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, among others. She works with all age groups. She is passionate about helping people move from where they are to where they want to be. Hauwa Bello is a member of the (APA) - American Psychological Association and (NPA) - Nigeria Psychological Association. She is a Speaker, Writer, and advocate of women's rights. She is happily married and blessed with children.



ABDULAZEEZ TUNBOSUN 

PHILOSOPHER

Abdulazeez is happily married with kids and based in the UAE. 

An Architecture and visual graphics professional with an advanced skill that is related to representations of ideas in Visuals and motions. He has mastered Arabic and Islamic Calligraphy and he had been designated on various occasions to teach children and help them develop their interest in Arabic Calligraphy. 

Abdulazeez has organized seminars and workshops by himself and on behalf of groups on visual design-related training. 

Outside of his field, he developed an interest in Spirituality, Psychology, and history. He admires academicians and reads journals as an addendum to his personal and private studies of various disciplines. His goal in life is to be a teacher for the souls, helping people understand themselves better and nurture their souls and directs them towards their creator. He believes we have to understand ourselves before we can understand our neighbours.


Abdulazeez still practices Architecture and Coordinates projects, and his multidisciplinary approach helps him to be more effective and proactive.



ZULIAKHA BELLO

EDUCATIONAL GUIDIANCE COUNSELOR

Zulaikha Bello is a Guidance Counselor with a specialty in Art and Color therapy and a certified listener on 7Cups (a website which provides online therapy and free support to people experiencing emotional distress by connecting them with trained listeners. The listener, trained in active listening, interacts with the person seeking help.

She is also an education for all activists, a girl child and woman right advocate, and a member of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network Hub Abuja. Her focus is on understanding and promoting human rights, she is a lover of children and very interested in helping them achieve their dreams, she is interested in both Art therapy and Chromotherapy and she has made it her main focus, she is also a yoga practitioner and a natural beauty product advocate.

DR OJO TUNDE MASSEYFERGUSON

CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST 

Dr Ojo Tunde Masseyferguson is a mental health specialist (a consultant psychiatrist) with over a decade of cognate experience in mental health promotion, prevention and management of mental health conditions using evidence-based interventions, including psychotherapy, counselling, and pharmacotherapy, among others. He uses a multidisciplinary and biopsychosocial approach in managing his clients, which spans both the public and private sectors. He has a combined working experience in Nigeria and abroad, having worked for some time at the prestigious Maudsley Hospital in the UK. He had his professional postgraduate qualification with the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN). He holds a master degree in Global Mental Health from King’s College London and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an MBA in healthcare management. 

His clientele in the private sector includes both corporate entities and individuals. His range of services includes workplace mental health support, workplace mental health programmes, mental health assessment, management of addiction, home-based service delivery, private psychotherapy and counselling sessions, and school-based mental health programmes, among others.

He has publications in peer-reviewed journals, and he is also a reviewer for journals. He is a recipient of many fellowship grants and awards: EMERALD (Emerging Mental Health system in Developing countries) studentship for his MSc, Lundbeck Neuroscience grant for early career psychiatrists and the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) early career psychiatrist fellowship award. He is also a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA).

He is a passionate mental health advocate and uses various platforms to increase awareness and conversation around mental health. He founded the Centre for Better Mental Health (CBMH) as a dedicated vehicle for mental health promotion, advocacy, community-based rehabilitation, empowerment and research. He runs a mental health advocacy programme on radio tagged Mental Health Matters and has made appearances on national television stations including Channels and AIT, and contributed to a documentary on BBC pidgin.
